NY Pistol Safety is a premier gun school in New York that offers the 16-hour plus 2 hour live fire, mandated safety course required to apply for your pistol permit in your county. This course includes your qualification round as well. Our team of experienced instructors will guide you through your application process and answer any questions you have regarding applying for your permit. Miguel Rivera, designed this Safety Certification Course using his years of experience in formal Law Enforcement Firearms training thru the Buffalo Police Department where he was a Range Master and taught in Erie County Police Academy, combined it with his training received from the NRA and the Military to come up with a comprehensive class that will teach you the basics in handgun safety. He is also a Certified General Topics and Firearms Trainer under the NYS Department of Criminal Justice Services
